HOW CLOSE TO A RESIDENCE CAN A SHED BE LOCATED?

A SHED NEEDS TO BE PLACED 6' AWAY FROM THE HOUSE, OR IT HAS TO HAVE A FIREWALL (THAT IS, 5/8" SHEETROCK, WHICH ALLOWS FOR 20 MINUTES OF FIRE PROTECTION BEFORE BURNING THROUGH TO THE RESIDENCE). HOWEVER, A SHED CAN BE BUILT RIGHT NEXT TO A GARAGE WALL OR ANY OTHER DETACHED, NON-HABITABLE STRUCTURE. A PERMIT MUST BE PULLED FOR A SHED THAT IS OVER 120 SQ. FEET, OR FOR A SHED THAT IS PUT ON A PERMANENT FOUNDATION. (SHED MUST BE MOVEABLE)
