Where do I get my
legal description?
From the assessor (520-6600) or the
Title Company that provided title insurance or simple a title
company.
Access the El Paso County Assessor's
web site - enter the address of the property ... if found, you will have
the tax schedule number, the property owner's name, the subdivision name
and lot number or the legal description.
What is the address of a specific
property?
We need the subdivision name and lot
number: the tax schedule number; or the legal description (range,
township and section, etc.) Cross streets can be helpful.
How do I go about correcting the
address on a permit?
Verify that the new address is
correct, refer back to the person who originally issued the
permit.
I can't find a specific address
(location) on my map, how do I get there?
Go into street locator for directions.
If not there, check the most current McVan Book or the assessor's maps
on their web site.
I want to change my address, what do I
need to do?
Send a letter directed to Rolf
Philipsen indicating the tax schedule number, the current address, the
number should be to street name, and the reason for the request. A map
showing the location of the property is also helpful as well as support
for the change by emergency services. A $50 application fee must be
included.
What is the elevation of my
property?
We don't have that information, you
need to hire a surveyor.
